CANCER AWARENESS

In India  the incident of cancer is increasing rapidly . Therefore it is important to step up cancer literacy and knowledge amongest the population. Screening locks for early signs of cancer or precautions conditions before any symptoms appear. It can help spot cancers at an early stage when treatment is more likely to be successful and the chances of survival are much better . Hence screening has been the care objective of our cancer screening program. The three most commonly occurring cancer in India are those of the breast , uterine cervix, and lip/ oral cavity.Together they account for approximately 35% at all cancers in India and constitute a public health priority. Screening is effective in the prevention and early detection of breast cancer, carnival cancer and oral cancer.
